Our Campus – As much as Friedensau Adventist University has to offer, our support structure is just as wide. Each area from the Social Sciences Department, Theology Department to our German Classes and Further Education Classes – there is always a Dean you can turn to for help, support and counsel. We are a campus community, which means you will always have someone to turn to for help. Let that be the Internship office to help you navigate practical trainings and internships or the Students Relations Office to answer any questions and support the needs of our students. We are here for you. Additionally, we also have our International Student Affairs Office, the contact point for all our international students.
Our University Sports – Our University Sports Club offers numerous sports opportunities – from soccer to gymnastics – for students and non-student members. Additionally, we have an on-campus gymnasium, a fitness room, and floodlight soccer field, sports fields for volleyball, table tennis and tennis. Furthermore we also have an on-campus sauna in the student residence.
Our Library – Here you can find a large variety of resources, from scientific journals, to music sheets, films and entertainment literature. Special events at the library include public readings and interesting exhibitions.
Our Spiritual Life – Living and studying in Friedensau has a spiritual dimension as well. Through various offers such as small home-groups, Bible studies, church services, devotions, spiritual guidance and prayer groups we invite students, non-members and visitors to get involved and encounter God here at Friedensau.

We at Friedensau Adventist University are a campus community. Staff, students and faculty alike form a trusting, tolerant, multicultural and cooperative community. We are located in a beautiful part of Germany surrounded by breathtaking nature. However no worries, we are only a day trip away (about 130km) from Germany’s capital Berlin, where you can find large shopping malls, numerous restaurants, intriguing museums and many world-famous tourist attractions (The Brandenburg Gate, the Berlin Wall Memorial, the Charlottenburg Palace, and the Kurfürstendamm).
Back in Friedensau, no matter what sport you are interested in, you will find it here: we offer various activities from soccer, volleyball, basketball, horseback riding and even an on-campus gym.
If sporting activities is not your cup of tea, come visit the student center. Here you can feel comfortable to relax, talk, and have a cozy get-together, we have everything from snacks and soft drinks to board games and billiard and table soccer.
If you are a history lover, our campus has you covered. Most of our buildings on campus have amazing historical backgrounds, some dating back to 1899. Another plus, not far from Friedensau are sites of the reformation such as Wittenberg, Magdeburg, Eisleben and the Wartburg.
